The experience of diet sessions is such that I would hardly use this tool of self-torture voluntarily. If not a "but": I have personally seen the results of two weeks of "Japanese" diet sessions. Just like in the magazine: "before" and "after". Still, the issue of beauty and health works perhaps best.

Lyrical sentimental discrepancy

I have to say that I admire the courage of the people who are able to feel the weight loss recipe found on the net and try it for themselves right away. I myself am wary of diets. Life brought them together twice.

First - in severe form, when I got some stomach infection in the mountains and was at an altitude of 3, 000 meters for three weeks, I just couldn’t eat: everything immediately asked me to come back. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1, 000 calories a day. For nearly a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee, ice cream, which is practical for lunch, and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet needs to be balanced much later.

So my first question was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but not enough amino acids, " replied a biochemical friend, "you will be evil - terror with a weapon. "My fear of my hypothetically heightened evil did not materialize. For the first two days, the body was suppressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from his life. And he realized that for a long time, but not forever, he had become silent and indifferent.

Charm and disappointment

As it happens during each experiment on myself, I have amassed a list of charms and disappointments. Or rather, the inconveniences and enjoyment of diet.

1. inconvenience

The diet is strict. Because, according to its authors, it is meant to change metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the trajectory (either with a crouton or an apple) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And that’s what you can expect: parting 5-8 pounds and stabilizing your weight in the future.

2. discomfort

It’s very hard to come to business lunch and flirtatiously ask me, please, for two hard-boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Such requests are generally not met. Therefore, you must carry all the provisions with you in your purse. And most likely he’s been preparing slimming meals the day before.

Pleasant number 1

A 13 day spent on a Japanese diet costs about twice as much as a daily business lunch or a work lunch. And even more so - buying food for the home.

Pleasant number 2

It is usually better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the foods are uncomfortable for you. And since I eat fish, boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage with great enthusiasm in "normal life", frankly it was a pleasure to see them on my table.

Many people ask about coffee every morning - isn’t it harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, coffee can have a detrimental effect. It is a good idea to consult your doctor before starting a Japanese diet.

The full range of feelings

The first two days of the diet were haunted by a vision: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thinly baked pancake appeared in front of my inner gaze, spontaneously rolling into a tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There were no olfactory hallucinations. After two days of persecution, the pancakes fell behind.

Culinary indifference and a calm attitude towards culinary delights began, which has continued to this day. That doesn’t mean I hardly refuse to offer to taste something delicious. But the fact that "there is so much food out there" is no longer observable.

I didn’t drop that much - only 4 pounds, but the weight didn’t gain weight back. I don’t know who to thank for this: the developers of the Japanese diet or myself - for playing sports twice a week. The only detail: you will noticeably weaken during your diet, and towards the end, it will be problematic to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But then the strength recovers quickly.
